This is such a good show and I’ve totally been obsessed with it for the past 2 or 3 weeks now.. I’m already on season 3 🙂 Prior to this show, I was obsessed with Mad Men, and rightfully so; that show was for MEN. It had everything a man needs to keep entertained; drama, sex, drugs, alcohol. However, once I finished that show I was left feeling empty 😦 For a short period of time, 24 filled that void, but after like 6 seasons, it was easy to see that the show was absolute B.S, and it was really Jack Bauer’s fault for surrounding himself with such unreliable, doubtful people. If everyone would just listen to Jack, the show would have been called 8. No joke, everything Jack Bauer says you shouldn’t do, the other characters will go against him and do it and here comes Jack to the rescue… It was extremely annoying, and most of the time it was just nonsense.
ANYWAYS.. this isnt about 24, this is about THE SHIELD. This show is really cool; its about a crooked cop and his team in a really dangerous part of L.A (Farmington District), but as the show progresses, you see that the team isn’t completely corrupt. They do the things that they do to “hasten” the justice system. For example, rather than wait for a warrant, or try to collect solidifying evidence against a criminal to send him to jail, the team will gather evidence by applying illegal wiretaps, and collecting information from confidential informants to put the bad guys behind bars… a bit faster, and more efficiently. The show really shows the bad-ass side of police officers, and the good, moral characters of each authoritative figure. It’s a great balance of action, drama and suspense. I highly recommend for everyone/anyone to check it out, especially for those who are still trying to fill that infinite void that was left after the end of THE WIRE 😦
Wow I think I will 100% definitely need to see this movie lol. It’s OLIVIA WILDE
from my most favoritest show HOUSE MD <333!! Truthfully, I haven’t seen the first one. I’ve seen bits and parts of it but because I’ve[we’ve] been so spoiled with the latest and greatest CG animations, I couldn’t really enjoy the original TRON from 1982 lol.
But yeah anyways, from the trailers and everything for the new Tron Legacy, it looks AMAZBALLZ! I can’t wait till this movie comes out!!!!
Also, about my previous post about my iPod… that thing sold REAL fast… like I’m talking within 20minutes lol. eBay is truly amazing. I’m doing a factory reset on it right now and I’ll be shipping it off, got what I asked for it; $140. I really did love that thing, but since I got my HTC Incredible, I don’t need it 🙂
Anywho… enjoy the trailer below 😀
Mechanic called today; said the price to repair my car is gonna be at least double what he thought; $3,000 ($1,500 more than what I have lol).
YOU WIN GOD. I FORFEIT!
well… good news is that it’s the last season of LOST… I guess?
So… this video is a bit of a spoiler for those of you who haven’t reached season 3 of Dexter, but I just couldn’t resist. This is just a great scene for any show, for anyone. For those who are caught up to Dexter, and/or for those who don’t watch the show; scroll down and enjoy 🙂
“Most actors toil in obscurity, never stepping into the spotlight, but if you hone your craft, work diligently, you might just find yourself cast in the role of a lifetime.”
I watch this clip and for a second, I imagine that Dexter isn’t Dexter, but the actor Michael C. Hall. He gives such a brilliant performance that I forget that he is playing the role of a sociopath that is incapable of expressing emotions. Then it hits me like a ton of bricks; this is Dexter Morgan talking, the serial-killer. His inner monologue solidifies the fact that it is all a lie. He considers himself an “actor.” He claims to have honed his craft and worked diligently for years, and that he has finally find himself cast in a role of a lifetime.
Is Dexter finally feeling love? Or is this what he wants to feel? Does he truly consider his life an unanswered question? Or does he simply believe that this is what it feels like to be in love? Is Dexter Morgan, the serial-killer who is/was incapable of feeling… falling in love? Or is this just another event that he uses to sharpen his acting skills?
